Your Smartphone - The Most Alive Being

The season comes and goes by, but your mobile phone remains as it is: seeking battery recharge for its living. Simultaneously, your mobile screen functions to procure internet data at the cheapest rate possible to inundate you with information on seasons. A season of protest, then a season of appeasement; a season of politics and then a season of economics; a season of Bollywood and then a season of cricket. Mind you, not necessarily in silos; the seasons may also overlap and cross-cut each other for news and entertainment or maybe both together in one.

It seems improbable to say that the mobile phone is the first device to eclipse human self-indulgence and direct it into endless mindlessness, but quite tenable in an over-arching sense. How inappropriate would it be to attach the majority of millennial sense of thriving on mobile phones? I don't know.  Would it be impossible to train our lives without mobile phones with fancy cameras? Maybe not: especially, when we as human beings are the most adaptable lot. Do we have to imagine a day when waking up is non-contingent on mobile phones? For now, it is better to leave this question in the imagination of fellow readers.
